Are you a supernatural and/or enlightened juggler? I use "and/or" because a supernatural juggler is also an enlightened juggler. An enlightened juggler is one who can do a pattern like Easy Dozenits successfully 80% of the time. A supernatural juggler is one who can do a pattern like Sour 16 when all the hand-acrosses are on their side 80% of the time. Sour 16 is a shorter name for what I previously called an unnatural Eulerian circuit. I'm also changing "unnatural" to "supernatural" which seems like a better description. Enlightened jugglers and supernatural jugglers are important because they can anchor and balance patterns, taking on the more difficult roles in a pattern.
If you have four jugglers and two want to practice Jim's Jam and one wants to practice 5-count, what do you do?
Before I answer that, let me go back to the pattern template we worked on at the last juggling meetup, RLRLM. Let's make a small tweak and change it to RLrLm. Notice that the A juggler will be doing Jim's Jam. The B juggler is doing self pass flip pass flip. That's basically Martin's Marmalade with the end being flip self instead of self flip. That means they can substitute with Jim's Jam starting second beat left. That also means the V juggler is feeding Jim's Jam, doing pass pass cross pass flip. In a T block, the I juggler is doing self self flip self cross. That can be substituted with 5-count starting fifth beat right. The T juggler is doing pass pass cross pass cross. So that's the answer, arrange the four jugglers in a T block with the template pattern RLrLm. It really helps to have an enlightened juggler in the T position.
