I've been anticipating it for a few weeks but today I'm finally calling it. Enough water in the lake has evaporated so that the island is now a peninsula.
My mom and I saw the eagle again on our lake walk and once again I missed getting a photo of video. We were both amazed that there's hardly a trace left from the car show yesterday at the lake park.
When I went to pick up Taco Bell for lunch the song "Learning to Fly" by Tom Petty came on the radio. I've been watching the new season of King of the Hill and it's a little sad that Tom Petty's no longer around to play the character of Lucky.
